Week 6, Chapter 7I have little knowledge of programming languages. I took a few years of BASIC back in 1982-85, then FORTRAN for a semester in college, then the first class in C++ at the University of Maryland. In looking back to BASIC I remember making rudimentary space shooting games and math formula programs 9they made my algebra easier!). FORTRAN is mainly used in scientific applications, but other than that that's all I remember about it. My first C++ class was fairly uneventful. I found that flow charting the program was easy enough. The problem I had with C++ was during debugging. With the debugging problems I had, I've determined that I need to become a better flow-charter. As for XMS and EMS, I believe that they are memory managers used in DOS to help overcome the limitations of the 640k barrier. I'll do some research on this one though.
